OK its about time we had a fun poll running! Very Happy

Lets go back in time to late 92 early 93 and decide which song should be next off Stigma! Maybe Mark D can tell us if there were ever any plans to
have another single after It's You. Question

Theres Seven classic songs left over, its a tough choice

But.. my vote is for She Bleeds as its an awesome song, with a superb guitar riff. And also when playing Stigma to death to all my non EMF friends it was the one track that they all liked!

No way. Inside is the best track on Stigma bar none!!! It's catchy as all hell, not to mention the awesome sample work. Wink Plus I think James wrote it all by himself... so... you know... Wink

Blue highs and she bleeds used to make me wanna do a runner..not the strongest of tracks, everyone of the others made the hairs on the back of my kneck stand on end..
There was a single and a video after It's you (which was also one of my fav tunes) it was called "Bleeding you dry". It was a kind of New order meets the pet shop boys...all programmed unfortunately..no marky boy playing on that. I had to play a keyboard on the track live....bad move!
The video cost a fortune and looked really cool..but EMI pulled the plug on it all not long after that. I still have copies of the singles and the video..

I loved Bleeding you dry- remember hearing it for the first time on the Evening session with Jo Whiley just before Cha Cha Cha came out-

remember you playing the sampler on the Cha Cha Cha tour and James
doing the Bass- be cool if you could somehow get the video on the site (hint hint Wink !)

Hard choice. I love them all and all songs sound great. (Well done boys!)
My vote goes to... Confused She Bleeds and it's all about the guitar

interesting, agree with Cara on 'Inside' an absolute stomper. Closley followed by Arizona. Funny MD mentioning 'She Bleeds' i totally love that song! But its one of those tracks that is special and should not be a single IMO. 'Bleeding You Dry' is top draw, and i liked the way EMF were heading
on 'Cha Cha Cha' Shining, Perfect Day, La Plage, Skin i was gutted when it all ended. Never got the recognition they deserved EMF, a band well before their time. Would be ace to see the Bleeding vid!!!!!!!!

I voyed for Blue Highs, but then I changed my mind!! I think Arizona is definitely one of the best EMF tracks and it would have made a brilliant single!

It's a shame you didn't get to see us out in Ozz...we did some blinding shows out there.....and had some pretty mental parties I seem to remember.
What's going to sound even stranger is that I spent about six months out in your manner 5 years ago. I was doing the usual thing..back packing, I travelled the World with the band but never really got to enjoy much of it. So I decided to go take a closer look.
I ended up settling in Bryon bay for 2 months, surfing everyday and wondering around Nimbin!!.
That was the fittest I've ever been, ripped to pieces!!..Cara I've got a great photo for you mate!! Wink I ended up getting a flat in Manly of all places, it was kind of ok. I was working at a Bowling centre entertaining kids which was a right laugh, unfortunately my dear old grandmother passed away back home so I called it a day..that was some of the best times of my life over there. Brilliant!

Your a Lucky bar steward!

By the way Mark nice choice with Byron - just got back from near there myself (Lennox Head). We're thinking of opening up a Kava hut there - hope it happens i need a change.

Back to business - definately Arizona!!

the light that burns twice as bright was probably their most accomplished song. definately had hit written all over it.
plus it credits all five of them. makes it into my top ten tracks of all time

I think EMF was down in Oz in around 1991. Unfortunately, I was in my final year at school and busy studying. I'm always running late and I didn't really get into EMF until 1992 ... So, I think I missed you by six months or something Twisted Evil
