My Mum gave all my original Star Wars toys to charity when I was about 12. I begged her not to, but she didn't listen.

Avout 7 years later, as I really started to get back into Star Wars, I went back and bought a lot of the same stuff.

All those f#cking 12 inch figures from 1978 were worth $80 - 100 each! But I had to give in, and I now have Luke and Vader (never got around to buying back C-3PO and R2-D2) ... My wife hates them and made me put them in a cabinet where all the DVDs are kept. It has glass doors, but it's so dark in there that you can't even see Darth Vader Shocked Rolling Eyes Exclamation Twisted Evil

I'm lucky in that my fiance loves Star Wars (not as much as me, however). I had all the toys when I was little and pitched them in the trash when I was about 12. I have forever regretted that.

I started collecting again when they started making new figures in 1997. I had a lot of ugly ones but I got some I really like from Episode I and III, plus some original characters.

I just got some shelves this past weekend and put them out on display. They look totally awesome. I have a 6" Grievous (with 4 lightsabers!) which is my current fave.

If you really want one Jason - they're available at K-Mart, that's where my brother got his.... or maybe it was Target.

Should've checked my facts first maybe - i'm sure it's one of those two though.

Marianna's not that bad. She just doesn't "get" why I am into things like Star Wars and comics. She figures I should "grow up". I told her I never will Razz

I can't wait to pick this up on DVD. I can't stop listening to the soundtrack, it's bloody awesome.

I have a deal with my mate that this summer holiday, we are going to watch Star Wars Episodes I - VI in a row! It will end up being about 16 hours ... Shocked
